Sydney Sie is a photographer as well as a graphic designer and Animator. She uses gradients of color, surreal imagery, the female body, and other graphical elements of composition, color, and layout to construct ambiguous, two dimensional worlds in her photographs. Sydney Sie’s creative approach to photography is to create a strong impression of the external form with an implied narrative buried within. She deliberately uses the inertia of the viewer’s attention to move beyond the bright colors and into the narrative story.

畢業於臺灣科技大學。大學主修平面設計，研究所主修資訊設計。以 設計、攝影、動態影像來呈現多項創作，作品把玩「錯視」與「誤解」，呈現睡覺 時保持眼睛睜開的狀態。活躍於國內外各大視覺與藝文平台。執導與拍攝《新一代 設計展》主視覺，參展於韓國亞洲文化殿堂《Solidarity Spores》，曾任臺灣《金 音創作獎》創意總監與Apple《Today at Apple》講師。動畫創作更榮獲英國、義大 利、澳洲、葡萄牙、羅馬尼亞、保加利亞等各大國際影展得獎提名。

2023 擔任《青春設計節》評審。
2022
獲《金點設計獎 Golden Pin Design Award》最佳設計標章。執導與拍攝《新一代 設計展》主視覺、《TIQFF 國際酷兒影展》主視覺、犀牛盾新品《渲染虹彩系 列》、《Par : Performing arts redefined》表演藝術期刊封面、《年年》寵物鮮食 包主視覺。參展於New Balance展覽《What A Grey Day》。擔任《桃園設計獎》 評審。受訪於《臺北市立美術館》《狂八〇:跨領域靈光出現的時代》、《聯合文 學》。
2021
擔任 Apple《Today at Apple》講師。拍攝《Nespresso 夏日食譜聯創計畫》、《GQ x Niko》與拍攝雜誌《Homework》。
2020
參展於韓國亞洲文化殿堂《Solidarity Spores》。執導 Selina《四季》 前導影片。 受訪於《美麗佳人》。
2019
臺灣《金音創作獎》創意總監。與台灣賓士合作《smart》拍攝與採訪。作品刊登 於《The Big Issue 大誌雜誌》與《FLiPER》，擔任《synology》講師。
2018
執導 Google Pixel3 企劃影片。於新竹玻璃設計藝術節《光動Light-Driving》與臺灣 文博會Creative Expo Taiwan《從身體創造》展出。擔任《高雄攝影節》與 《Wacom》講師。作品刊登於臺灣實體雜誌《PPAPER》、《Everday Object》、 《wonder foto day》與香港線上平台《The Femin》。設計林宥嘉《idol》演唱會 周邊，拍攝文慧如《親愛的你，怎樣的我》專輯。
2017
於TOYOTA PRIUS c 廣告、SAMSUNG NOTE8、阿達Ada MV《我說寶貝》影片擔 任導演。SAMSUNG A7形象拍攝、加美隱形眼鏡形象拍攝、藝人温貞菱形象拍攝。 作品刊登於臺灣線上平台《Everday Object》，參與攝影聯展《wonder foto day》。
2016
擔任舞台劇《How Long is Now》形象片導演，還有Lulu黃路梓茵《蜜大腿》MV。 魏如萱《那邊的女人，這邊的貓》與舞台劇《洋子Yoko》單曲拍攝、黃玠瑋 《wonderland》專輯形象拍攝、韓國《wegle wegle》形象拍攝、《ponyo porco》 形象拍攝。作品刊登於韓國《Nylon》實體雜誌與日本《Nylon》線上採訪，與臺灣 雜誌《意念圖誌Inspire》。參與《30visual-designers》聯展、勤美誠品 《meowomen》聯展。
2015
執導Ella《差一點》MV。拍攝《ADERerror》形象照、《ponyo porco》形象照、 《ATOM》形象照、紐約樂團《SACHI》專輯攝影。於時報文化出版《MEOW:這 些貓 / 這些人》，作品刊登於實體雜誌英國《#photography Magazine》、土耳其 《Calling》、香港《BranD magazine》，與線上平台法國《Fubiz》、德國 《iGNANT》與《Artisan Magazin》、臺灣《waterfall》、中國《Vice》。
2012
動畫獲《葡萄牙 MONSTRA國際動畫影展》、《羅馬尼亞 Kinofest 國際數位影展》、 《英國Animex 動畫與電腦遊戲影展》、《義大利 Lucania 影展》、《保加利亞 Golden Kuker – Sofia》等國際影展得獎提名，2013 年入圍《澳洲墨爾本國際動畫 影展》。
